Video of performance and video quality on dedicated streaming & capture PC with i5 with onboard GPU for H.264 QuickSync Video encoder and USB 3.0 WiiStar HDMI capture card, at 1080p @ 60FPS.
As ETH switched to “Prof of Stake” from “Prof of Work” I stopped mining cypto on AMD Ryzen 5 3600 with XFX FatBoy RX 590 8 GB (AVENIO OptiGamer).
I bought this AMD PC second hand and it came with pre-installed games.
In this session I captured game-plays of few games that where on it.

- About Re-Volt: Re-Volt is an R/C car racing game from Acclaim, originally released in 1999. It features great gameplay, several game modes and realistic physics, coupled with bright and colorful visuals that still hold up to this day.

Conclusion: My thoughts & experience
I had quite good results with old i5 and onbord GPU for hardware encoding 1080p @ 60fps, as dedicated for multistreaming. also it preformed a few VFX trick in background and music player task
I mean Intel’s QuickSync hardware encoder exceeded all my expectations on Windows. On Linux sucks, CPU – x.264 enc is better, heck even old AMD h.264 is better than Intel on Linux
Nothing beats NV enc. but when I look closer on it how it works under serious load, I give precedence to intel enc any time, considering thermals under similar conditions.
